 | Dan Hynes finished second to Gov. Pat Quinn last Tuesday |
Campaign strategies for the November General Election are undoubtedly beginning to be discussed, particularly among the state Democratic Party, which suddenly finds itself without a lieutenant governor candidate. The winner of the Feb. 2 Primary Election, Scott Lee Cohen, dropped out of the race Sunday.

Now, Michael Madigan, Illinois Speaker of the House and chair of the Democratic Central Committee, will gather committee members to name someone to step in the nominee's spot for lt. governor.
