Moraine Valley collecting gently used special occasion dresses, accessories

Dig through the closets, and pull out “gently” used prom and bridesmaid dresses to donate to MoraineValleyCommunity College’s Dream Come True Project. The dresses will be given away free of charge to local high school girls on Saturday, March 27, from 8 to 11 a.m., in the Fine and Performing Arts Center’s atrium, on campus, 9000 W. College Pkwy, Palos Hills.
Dresses of all styles and sizes that are in good condition will be accepted. Shoes, purses, jewelry, and other accessories also will be accepted. Donations can be brought to the Multicultural Student Affairs Department in Room 201I, on the second floor of Building S, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.The Dream Come True Project is an event for the college’s Women’s History Month celebration and is sponsored by the Celebrating Diversity Task Group.
